Nadira Amrani is a British Algerian Visual Artist that works in photography, theatre and cinema.
Coming from a design education having studied Architecture at the Bartlett UCL; Nadira is interested in exploring identity duality through surrealism. Referencing classical paintings, Nadira's work explores marginalised or underrepresented people through heroic poses and bright colours. As a Visual Artist Nadira has worked with many art institutions including Tate Modern, Tate Britain, V&A and most recently the Sharjah Art Foundation.
Nadira is currently represented by Blink Productions in London, for film work in the Commercial, Fashion and Music industries. Nadira loves to collaborate with musicians and record labels to create striking music videos as well as other visual content including album and single Artworks.
Her first short film 'Fly' premiered at the BFI film festival in 2018 having won the Film London Calling grant. A passionate writer of scripts in dramatic fiction, and having directed the theatre play 'Different Sands' at the Bunker in 2019- Nadira is currently working on more short film cinema as well as writing and directing drama for Television.
